Forum Foundation has worked tirelessly since 2006 to provide the tools to help communities grow. It began by providing uniforms and computers to schools as well as transportation to students who could not otherwise attend classes because of distant commutes.
By the end of 2013, over 9,000 students had benefited from the Forum Foundation programs. Aid had expanded from uniforms, computers, and buses to building and remodeling class rooms, creating science labs, constructing dormitories, installing solar panels, renovating kitchens, supplying food, and providing folk culture education.
Forum Foundation now supports 3 main programs:
• community schools
• Forum Academy
• continuing education
Each project has been made possible by the parents, teachers, and community leaders who recognized their needs and worked to address those challenges.
