How We Empower Students

Forum Foundation provides direct and indirect financial support to underprivileged students to support their enrollment, retention, and success in formal education from from preschool through university. Working alongside communities, the Foundation strives to foster sustainable change through programs such as:

  • awarding scholarships and direct financial assistance to underprivileged students to support their enrollment, retention, and success in formal education, from preschool through university;
  • providing financial support for the purchase of school uniforms, educational supplies, learning materials, footwear, backpacks, and other necessary items for academic development;
  • contributing to the cost of school transportation or other means of transit that ensure regular student attendance;
  • making donations and offering material support and structural improvements to public schools located in rural or underserved urban areas, aiming to enhance educational, physical, and sanitary conditions;
  • establishing partnerships with educational institutions, public and private organizations, both national and international, to strengthen the Foundation’s programs and broaden its impact; and
  • promoting tutoring programs, academic reinforcement and career guidance, and other related activities.

Uniform Donation Program

Each year, Forum Foundation makes a significant donation of khaki uniforms. In addition to meeting a basic need, each uniform recognizes the academic effort and student commitment. Providing uniforms supports equality, strengthens institutional identity, and engenders student pride striving for success.

Ongoing Awareness and Training

In collaboration with public schools, private institutions, and other organizations, including the Ministry of Health, the National Police, the Red Cross, IDIAP, University of Panama – Coclé, and Nestlé, training sessions are conducted for students and community members. The topics include, for example- sugarcane borer, rice cultivation, adolescence influences, school safety, English as a second language, and substance abuse prevention.

Community Involvement and Activities

A variety of educational and academic activities in subjects such as mathematics, history, Spanish and English are offered to strengthen learning and promote community engagement.
